The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 114 districts/cities with weekly tracing rates above the national average, currently recorded at 3.18 percent as of Sunday, July 31, 2022.
The top five districts/cities with rates exceeding 27 percent are Ciamis, Gorontalo City, West Lombok, Sibolga City, and Metro City, with values of 50 percent, 40 percent, 35.5 percent, 30 percent, and 27 percent respectively.
A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows that tracing in most districts/cities outside Java has decreased. A daily tracing rate higher than previous days was recorded in 14 districts/cities, while 20 districts/cities recorded lower tracing rates.
Areas outside Java with the highest tracing rates include Gorontalo City, West Lombok, and Sibolga City, with tracing rates of 40 percent, 35.5 percent, and 30 percent respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
