As of Wednesday, January 11, 2023, 68.85 million doses of COVID-19 booster vaccines have been administered in Indonesia. This represents 29.34% of the national vaccination target of 234.66 million doses. According to the Ministry of Health, 4,204 booster doses were administered nationwide on the previous day.
West Java has the highest number of booster vaccine recipients nationwide, with 15.68 million doses administered. Within West Java, Bogor Regency has the highest number of booster vaccine recipients, with 1.61 million doses. This is followed by Bandung Regency (1.11 million), Bekasi City (992,750), Bekasi Regency (991,210), Cianjur Regency (929,080), and Bandung City (904,970).
East Java is second with 9.27 million doses, with Surabaya City having the highest number of recipients in the province at 1.3 million doses.
Central Java is third with 8.57 million booster doses administered, followed by North Sumatra (3.78 million), Banten (3.02 million), and Bali (1.97 million).
