Teluk Bintuni is the regency with the highest number of weekly confirmed positive Covid-19 cases, at 17.36 cases per 100,000 population/week. The number of weekly confirmed positive Covid-19 cases in this regency shows no improvement, as it increased compared to the previous week, which recorded 15.91 cases per 100,000 population/week.
The same condition occurred in Tambrauw, which recorded 6.2 weekly confirmed positive Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population/week. In this regency, the number of weekly confirmed positive Covid-19 cases is also higher than the previous week, which reported zero weekly confirmed positive Covid-19 cases. Next is Manokwari. This regency in West Papua province recorded 5.11 weekly confirmed positive Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population/week.
Fakfak and Raja Ampat follow, with recorded weekly confirmed positive Covid-19 cases of 4.85 cases per 100,000 population/week and 3.97 cases per 100,000 population/week, respectively.
Nationally, the average number of weekly confirmed positive Covid-19 cases across the 34 provinces is now showing a decrease compared to the previous week, which was at 3.24 cases per 100,000 population/week.
