This is part of the local government's efforts to catch up on the vaccination program, which is still below the provincial average. Currently, the first dose vaccination coverage in East Kutai has only reached 23.83%, while the provincial average is already at 30.05%.
According to daily data released by the Ministry of Health, the weekly average vaccination in this region is 446 doses. This figure is below the average for most regencies/cities in East Kalimantan. With 13,462 doses of vaccine in stock, the estimated vaccine supply in East Kutai is sufficient to meet vaccination activities for the next 30 days.
At the provincial level, the total first dose vaccination in East Kalimantan has reached 30.48 percent, covering 876,140 vaccine recipients. The second dose vaccination has reached 18.25 percent, covering 524,600 vaccine recipients.
