Data as of Monday, December 19, 2022, shows the national average examination rate at 11.18 percent. This suspect examination data is calculated based on the number of suspected individuals and close contacts compared to the number of people examined in each region, which is then reported to the Ministry of Health.
The top five, starting from the highest weekly suspect examination percentage, are Simalungun (93.13%), Tidore Islands City (91.82%), Konawe Kepulauan (87.5%), Mandailing Natal (85.97%), and Sumba Tengah (80.52%).
Simalungun is ranked first. With a population of 877,710, the weekly suspect examination percentage here is recorded at 93.13 percent. The latest positive rate is 9.01 percent. The positive rate in this region increased compared to the previous week's percentage.
Next is Tidore Islands City. The population in this region is recorded at 101,620. In an effort to counter the Covid-19 pandemic, the weekly suspect examination percentage is 91.82 percent. The positive rate in this region is recorded at 9.09 percent, or higher than the previous week's ratio.
Then, Konawe Kepulauan recorded 87.5 percent examination, Mandailing Natal, with a population of 460,360, recorded a weekly suspect examination percentage of 85.97 percent, and the weekly suspect examination percentage in Sumba Tengah was recorded at 80.52 percent.
Anticipating the impact of Omicron in various regions, based on the recapitulation of national Covid data, there are 190 regencies/cities in Indonesia that actively report a higher daily weekly suspect examination percentage than before.
