Death reports in this country decreased by 17.03% compared to the previous week. Following Japan, India recorded 68 deaths (up 142.86%), South Korea recorded 58 deaths (up 9.43%), the Philippines recorded 39 deaths (down 38.1%), and Indonesia recorded 30 deaths (up 7.14%).
The total number of COVID-19 deaths in Asia over the past seven days was 412. This accounts for 16.19 percent of global deaths caused by the COVID-19 virus, totaling 2,544. The number of deaths in Asia decreased compared to the previous seven-day accumulation of 444 deaths.
