The top five, starting from the highest weekly suspect screening percentage, are Banggai Kepulauan (95.65%), Tidore Kepulauan City (84.38%), Halmahera Timur (77.78%), Mandailing Natal (76.94%), and Boven Digoel (72.73%).
Banggai Kepulauan ranks first. With a population of 120,260, its weekly suspect screening percentage is recorded at 95.65 percent. The latest positive rate is 0 percent. The positive rate in this region has decreased compared to the previous week's ratio.
Next is Tidore Kepulauan City. The population of this region is recorded at 102,120. In an effort to prevent the COVID-19 pandemic, the weekly suspect screening percentage is 84.38 percent. The positive rate in this region is recorded at 0 percent, also down from the previous week's percentage.
Furthermore, Halmahera Timur recorded 77.78 percent, Mandailing Natal recorded 76.94 percent, and Boven Digoel recorded 72.73 percent for weekly suspect screening percentages.
Anticipating the impact of Omicron in various regions, based on the national COVID-19 data recapitulation, there are 143 regencies/cities in Indonesia actively reporting higher daily weekly suspect screening percentages than before. Meanwhile, 139 other regencies/cities recorded lower weekly suspect screening percentages compared to the previous week.
