Over 100% of Public Servants Have Received Full COVID-19 Vaccination

The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded that as of February 23, 2022, 113.77% or 19,713,342 public officials had received their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.

Furthermore, 102.56% or 17,769,938 public officials had received their second dose, and 3.07% or 531,902 had received their third dose.

Public officials included in this vaccination target are those whose professions are vulnerable to Covid-19 exposure, such as educators, tourism workers, traders, public service officers, public transportation workers, athletes, journalists, religious leaders, elected officials, government officials, civil servants, and members of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (Polri).

The TNI, Polri, and other security personnel groups are prioritized by the government due to their crucial role in assisting with contact tracing of the virus.

In addition, the government also prioritizes public transportation workers, including train ticket agents and engineers, airport workers, pilots, flight attendants, port workers, TransJakarta and MRT workers, bus drivers, conductors, taxi drivers, and online motorcycle taxi drivers.
