As of Monday, October 25, 2021, a total of 184.85 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered nationwide. This includes 114.03 million first doses, 68.68 million second doses, and 2.15 million doses administered through community-based vaccination programs.
A total of 2.01 million healthcare workers have received their first dose (136.69% of the target), and 1.89 million have received their second dose (128.4% of the target). Furthermore, 1.11 million healthcare workers (75.5% of the target) have received a third dose, as recommended by the government.
For public sector workers, 28.01 million people (161.67% of the target) have received their first dose, and 22.54 million (130.11% of the target) have received their second dose.
The elderly were also prioritized in the initial vaccination phases. To date, 8.09 million elderly individuals (37.52% of the target) have received their first dose, and 5.07 million (23.54% of the target) have received their second dose.
Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 70.89 million people (51.02% of the target) have received their first dose, and 35.07 million (25.55% of the target) have received their second dose.
Finally, for adolescents aged 12-17 years, 3.87 million (14.51% of the target) have received their first dose, and 3.1 million (11.6% of the target) have received their second dose.
