The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) notes that at least one regency/city has a weekly BOR above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 3.55 percent. This average is up from last week's 3.23 percent, data as of Wednesday, August 10, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with the highest COVID-19 BOR, exceeding 36.59 percent, are Barito Selatan (62.31 percent), Tanah Bumbu (45.94 percent), Banjarbaru City (40.09 percent), Manggarai Timur (37.5 percent), and Banjar (36.59 percent).
A national COVID-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the BOR in most regencies/cities outside of Java. A daily BOR higher than the previous day was recorded in 100 regencies/cities, while 33 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Barito Selatan (62.31 percent), Tanah Bumbu (45.94 percent), and Banjarbaru City (40.09 percent).
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
