This testing achievement data is calculated based on the number of people tested compared to each region's weekly target, subsequently reported to the Ministry of Health.
The top five, starting from the highest, are Badung, Semarang, Metro City, Kepulauan Seribu, and Pakpak Bharat, with ratios of 168.52 percent, 160.83 percent, 110.86 percent, 81.95 percent, and 73.21 percent, respectively.
Badung ranks first. With a population of 727,950, its weekly testing percentage is recorded at 168.52 percent. The latest positive rate is 7.29 percent. The positive rate in this region has decreased compared to the previous week's ratio.
Next is Semarang. In an effort to counter the COVID-19 pandemic, the weekly testing percentage reached 160.83 percent. The positive rate in this region is recorded at 3.27 percent, an increase compared to the previous week's percentage.
Furthermore, the weekly testing percentage in Metro City is recorded at 110.86 percent. Kepulauan Seribu, with a population of 26,105, recorded a weekly testing percentage of 81.95 percent, while Pakpak Bharat recorded 73.21 percent.
Anticipating the impact of Omicron in various regions, based on the national COVID-19 data recapitulation, 197 regencies/cities in Indonesia actively reported higher weekly testing percentages than before. Meanwhile, 153 other regencies/cities recorded lower weekly testing percentages compared to the previous week.
