Several districts/cities in Banten province still record relatively low vaccination rates compared to other areas. Some of these districts/cities include Serang Regency, Lebak Regency, and Pandeglang Regency.
As of Tuesday, January 25, 2022, these three regencies had only completed 2.11 million doses of the first vaccine shot out of a target of 3.31 million vaccine recipients.
Serang Regency is ranked first among the lowest. As of yesterday, this region has completed more than half of its vaccination target, reaching 54.7 percent. This is the lowest figure compared to the other eight districts/cities. The vaccination program in this regency targets 1.26 million participants. The average vaccination rate last week was 11,042 participants. The available vaccine stock is 87,775 doses.
Next is Lebak Regency, ranked second lowest. With a vaccination target of 1.07 million participants, vaccination in this region has reached 65.9 percent, or 702,320 participants. The average vaccination rate last week was 6,306 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is currently 174,120 doses.
Then there is Pandeglang Regency, ranked third lowest. With a vaccination target of 982,500 participants, vaccination in this region has reached 73.6 percent, or 722,930 participants. The average vaccination rate last week was 27,600 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is currently 131,890 doses.
At the provincial level, the total first dose vaccination in Banten has reached 83.92 percent, covering 7.74 million vaccine recipients. The second dose vaccination has reached 58.37 percent, covering 5.39 million vaccine recipients.
