The implementation of the third dose of vaccination across all regions has been underway for one semester. The latest data (as of Sunday, October 8, 2023) shows that Makassar City in South Sulawesi has the highest third-dose vaccination rate at 14.31 percent.

Previously, the city achieved 95.37 percent for the first dose and 75.55 percent for the second dose. A total of 2.04 million doses have been administered in this region, exceeding the target of 1.1 million vaccine recipients.

Luwu Timur Regency follows in second place. Compared to the previous week, its vaccination rate has reached 14.22 percent. The first dose has reached 95.37 percent and the second dose 75.55 percent. Following these are Pare Pare City with a third-dose vaccination rate of 13.89 percent, Soppeng Regency at 11.44 percent, and Palopo City at 9.02 percent.

Nationally, Indonesia's third-dose vaccination rate currently stands at 38.2 percent, unchanged from the previous day.

According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health's dashboard, national vaccination coverage has reached 86.88 percent for the first dose and 74.56 percent for the second dose.
