The five districts/cities with the highest number of Covid-19 deaths, exceeding 0.12 per 100,000 population per week, are Jembrana, Malang City, Central Jakarta City, Kulon Progo, and Banyumas, with respective values of 0.35, 0.34, 0.22, 0.22, and 0.12 deaths per 100,000 population per week.
The national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows that the number of deaths due to Covid-19 in most districts/cities outside Java has decreased. The number of daily deaths due to Covid-19 higher than before was recorded in 0 districts/cities, and one district/city recorded a lower number of deaths due to Covid-19.
Areas outside Java with the highest number of Covid-19 deaths include Jembrana, Nagekeo, and Ngada, with respective death rates of 0.35, 0, and 0 deaths per 100,000 population per week.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
