The top five, starting from the highest, are Deli Serdang, Samarinda City, Kediri, Sukabumi, and Makassar City, with 967, 961, 945, 938, and 925 tests per week, respectively.
Deli Serdang ranks first, with 967 tests per week recorded in the last week. The latest positive rate is 1.86 percent, down from the previous week.
Next is Samarinda City, with a population of 866,880. In an effort to combat the Covid-19 pandemic, 961 tests per week were conducted. The positive rate is 0.21 percent, also down from the previous week.
Following this, Kediri recorded 945 tests per week, Sukabumi 938 tests per week, and Makassar City 925 tests per week.
In anticipation of the Omicron impact in various regions, based on national Covid-19 data recapitulation, 105 regencies/cities in Indonesia actively reported a higher number of daily tests in the last week compared to the previous week.
