84.45% of the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination has been achieved in West Kalimantan.

As of Sunday, March 6, 2022, West Kalimantan Province has achieved an 84.45% vaccination rate for the first dose. This equates to 3.27 million vaccine recipients out of a target of 3.87 million people. The second dose vaccination rate reached 61.4% of the target as of the previous day.

By target group, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 25,020 recipients. For the first dose, 25,020 people were vaccinated (140.03% of the target), and for the second dose, 34,080 people were vaccinated (136.2% of the target).

For public sector workers, the target was 291,650 people. The first dose vaccination reached 242,230 people (83.05% of the target), and the second dose reached 224,990 people (77.14% of the target).

For the elderly, the target was 350,690 people. The first dose was administered to 201,790 people (57.54% of the target), while the second dose reached 138,320 people (39.44% of the target).

For the vulnerable general public, the target was 2.64 million people. The first dose was administered to 2.03 million people (78.55% of the target), while the second dose reached 1.54 million people (59.72% of the target).

For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 569,700 people. The first dose was administered to 470,510 people (82.59% of the target), while the second dose reached 379,760 people (66.66% of the target).
