National COVID-19 vaccination as of Tuesday, November 23, 2021, has reached 228.02 million doses. This includes 135.42 million first doses, 90.23 million second doses, and 2.37 million doses administered through community-based vaccination programs.
A total of 2.02 million healthcare workers have received the first dose, representing 137.86% of the target. 1.92 million healthcare workers have received the second dose (130.83% of the target). The government also recommends a third dose for healthcare workers; 1.21 million have received it (82.52% of the target).
For public sector workers, 24.54 million people have received the first dose (141.63% of the target), and 20.94 million have received the second dose (120.85% of the target).
Initially, the elderly were a priority group. To date, 10.99 million elderly individuals have received the first dose (50.99% of the target), and 6.9 million have received the second dose (32.03% of the target).
Starting in July 2021, the government targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 73.56 million people have received the first dose (52.98% of the target), and 43.67 million have received the second dose (31.72% of the target).
Finally, for adolescents aged 12-17 years, 23.05 million have received the first dose (86.32% of the target), and 15.66 million have received the second dose (58.65% of the target).
