As of Saturday, September 25, 2021, a total of 134.55 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered nationwide. This includes 85.02 million first doses, 47.78 million second doses, and 1.76 million doses administered through the "gotong royong" (community-based) vaccination program.
A total of 1.97 million healthcare workers have received their first dose (134.16% of the target). 1.82 million healthcare workers have received their second dose (123.72% of the target). Furthermore, 892,190 healthcare workers have received a third dose (60.74% of the target).
For public sector workers, 27.76 million people have received their first dose (160.2% of the target), and 16.56 million have received their second dose (95.58% of the target).
The elderly were prioritized in the initial vaccination phases. To date, 6.15 million elderly individuals have received their first dose (28.53% of the target), and 4.25 million have received their second dose (19.71% of the target).
Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 44.7 million people have received their first dose (32.36% of the target), and 21.99 million have received their second dose (16.11% of the target).
Finally, for adolescents aged 12-17 years, 3.44 million have received their first dose (12.9% of the target), and 2.4 million have received their second dose (8.97% of the target).
