As of Saturday, May 7, 2022, the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination coverage in Bengkulu Province has reached 92.38 percent. This equates to 1.44 million vaccine recipients out of a target of 1.55 million people. Meanwhile, the second dose vaccination has reached 72.99 percent of the target.
Based on target groups, the details of the vaccination to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce group had a target of 15,470 recipients. For the first dose, vaccination was successfully carried out for 15,470 people (120.28 percent of the target), and for the second dose, 115.69 percent or 17,900 people were vaccinated.
For public service workers, the target was 164,190 people. The first dose vaccination reportedly reached 116,000 people (70.65 percent of the target), and the second dose reached 64.15 percent, or 105,330 people.
For the elderly, the target was 133,450 people. The first dose was administered to 101,960 people (76.4 percent of the target). The second dose reached only 56.77 percent, or 75,760 people.
For the vulnerable general public, the target was 1.03 million people. For the first dose, vaccination was reportedly administered to 830,040 people (80.78 percent of the target). The second dose reached only 61.73 percent, or 633,370 people.
For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 206,640 people. The first dose was administered to 192,160 people (92.99 percent of the target). The second dose reached 77.61 percent, or 160,380 people.
