Several districts/cities in DKI Jakarta province still record relatively low vaccination rates compared to other areas. Some of these districts/cities include East Jakarta, West Jakarta, and the Thousand Islands Regency.
As of Monday, January 31, 2022, these three areas had only completed 4.57 million first doses of the vaccine, exceeding the target of 4.36 million vaccine recipients.
East Jakarta is ranked first. As of yesterday, vaccination in this area has exceeded the target by 103.55 percent. This is the lowest percentage compared to the other six districts/cities. The vaccination program in this regency is planned to target 2.4 million participants.
Next is West Jakarta, ranked second lowest. With a vaccination target of 1.93 million participants, the vaccination realization has exceeded the target by 106.32 percent, reaching 2.05 million participants.
The Thousand Islands Regency is ranked third. With a vaccination target of 21,033 participants, the vaccination realization has exceeded the target by 127.68 percent, reaching 26,855 participants.
At the provincial level, the total first dose vaccination in DKI Jakarta has reached 147.1 percent, covering 12.35 million vaccine recipients. The second dose vaccination has reached 120.11 percent, covering 10.08 million vaccine recipients.
