The United States ranks first, with weekly Omicron cases growing by 4.34 percent. GISAID recorded 1.29 million Omicron cases in the country. Daily cases in this region increased by 0.33 percent compared to the previous day.
The United Kingdom follows in second place. Compared to the previous week, the number of Omicron cases in the country grew by 0.96 percent. A total of 1.22 million Omicron cases were reported. Daily statistics show a 0.16 percent increase in Omicron cases compared to the previous day, totaling 1.22 million.
Next is Germany with 334,300 Omicron cases (up 2.02%), Denmark with 253,040 cases (up 1.8%), and France with 148,300 cases (up 3.72%).
In Indonesia, as of Thursday, July 7, 2022, there were 13,888 Omicron cases, a 0.64 percent increase compared to the previous day. Since it was first monitored, Omicron cases in Indonesia have continued to rise.
