As of Tuesday, October 5, 2021, a total of 151.21 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered nationwide. This includes 95.31 million first doses, 53.99 million second doses, and 1.9 million doses administered through the community-based vaccination program ("vaksinasi gotong royong").
A total of 1.99 million healthcare workers have received their first dose (135.15% of the target), and 1.85 million have received their second dose (125.67% of the target). Furthermore, 971,510 healthcare workers have received a third dose (66.15% of the target).
For public sector workers, 27.82 million people have received their first dose (160.57% of the target), and 20.44 million have received their second dose (117.98% of the target).
The elderly population was also prioritized in the initial vaccination phases. To date, 6.74 million elderly individuals have received their first dose (31.27% of the target), and 4.48 million have received their second dose (20.79% of the target).
Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 53.76 million people have received their first dose (38.82% of the target), and 23.62 million have received their second dose (17.34% of the target).
Finally, for adolescents aged 12-17 years, 3.95 million have received their first dose (14.8% of the target), and 2.74 million have received their second dose (10.27% of the target).
