Average Length of Schooling for Boyolali Residents Rises to 8.41 Years

The average length of schooling (ALS) for residents aged 25 and above in Boyolali, Central Java, was 8.41 years in 2025.

Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the ALS for residents in the region was above the average for Central Java Province, which was 8.15 years in 2025.

Boyolali residents' ALS increased by 0.24 years (2.94%) compared to the previous year's 8.17 years. Meanwhile, over the last five years, the ALS rose by 0.57 years (7.27%).

This ALS indicates that, on average, Boyolali residents only attended school up to the 8th grade. However, this ALS is still below the national average ALS of 9.07 years in 2025.
