The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 42 regencies/cities with an agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 above the national average, currently recorded at 0.01 per 100,000 population per week, data as of Tuesday, June 14, 2022.
The five regencies/cities with the highest agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19, exceeding 0.37 per 100,000 population per week, are Lampung Barat (0.97 per 100,000 population per week), Bulungan (0.74 per 100,000 population per week), Mimika (0.45 per 100,000 population per week), Tasikmalaya City (0.44 per 100,000 population per week), and Poso (0.37 per 100,000 population per week).
A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 in most regencies/cities outside Java. A daily agglomeration death rate higher than previous days was recorded in 13 regencies/cities.
Areas outside Java with the highest agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 include Lampung Barat (0.97 per 100,000 population per week), Bulungan (0.74 per 100,000 population per week), and Mimika (0.45 per 100,000 population per week).
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
