The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 98 districts/cities with an agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 above the national average, currently recorded at 0.07 per 100,000 population per week, data as of Thursday, November 3, 2022.
The five districts/cities with the highest agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19, exceeding 0.83 per 100,000 population per week, are Banggai Laut (1.27 per 100,000 population per week), Aceh Jaya (1.03 per 100,000 population per week), Bengkulu Tengah (0.86 per 100,000 population per week), Banggai Kepulauan (0.84 per 100,000 population per week), and Toli Toli (0.83 per 100,000 population per week).
The national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 in most districts/cities outside Java. Nineteen districts/cities recorded a higher daily agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 than previously, while four districts/cities recorded a lower rate.
Areas outside Java with the highest agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 include Banggai Laut (1.27 per 100,000 population per week), Aceh Jaya (1.03 per 100,000 population per week), and Bengkulu Tengah (0.86 per 100,000 population per week).
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
