Only 37.68 percent of the target population in West Sulawesi has received their first dose of the vaccine.

As of Saturday, October 30, 2021, West Sulawesi Province has achieved a 37.68% vaccination rate for the first dose. This equates to 1.82 million vaccine recipients out of a target of 4.84 million people. The second dose vaccination rate reached 24.44% of the target as of the previous day.

By target group, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 32,920 recipients. For the first dose, 32,920 people were vaccinated (135.47% of the target), and for the second dose, 127.37% of the target was achieved, or 41,940 people.

For public sector workers, the target was 349,420 people. The first dose vaccination reached 576,100 people (164.87% of the target), and the second dose reached 137.97% of the target, with 482,100 doses administered.

For the elderly, the target was 322,470 people. The first dose was administered to 68,560 people (21.26% of the target). The second dose reached only 15.05% of the target, or 48,530 people.

For the vulnerable general public, the target was 3.45 million people. The first dose was administered to 1.06 million people (32.28% of the target). The second dose reached only 17.2% of the target, or 544,940 people.

For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 684,190 people. The first dose was administered to 20,370 people (2.98% of the target). The second dose reached only 2.49% of the target, with 17,050 doses administered.
