By target group, the vaccination details to combat the COVID-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce group had a target of 189,910 recipients. For the first dose, vaccination was successfully administered to 189,910 people (145.42% of the target), and for the second dose, 141.46% or 202,990 people were vaccinated.
Public sector workers had a target of 2.07 million people. The first dose vaccination reportedly reached 3.52 million people (169.87% of the target), and the second dose reached 153.68% or 3.18 million people.
The elderly target was 4.34 million people. For the first dose, 2.86 million people were vaccinated (65.93% of the target). The second dose reached only 42.32% or 1.83 million people.
The vulnerable general public target was 21.64 million people. For the first dose, 14.87 million people were vaccinated (69.07% of the target). The second dose reached only 50.39% or 10.82 million people.
Another target group was adolescents aged 12-17 years, with a target of 3.59 million people. For the first dose, 3.23 million people were vaccinated (90% of the target). The second dose reached 73.69% or 2.64 million people.
