The number of people in Papua who have received their first dose of the vaccine has reached 886,440.

As of Saturday, August 13, 2022, Papua Province has achieved a 30.23% vaccination rate for the first dose. This equates to 886,440 individuals vaccinated out of a target of 2.95 million. The second dose vaccination rate has reached 22.86% of the target.

By target group, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 19,530 individuals. For the first dose, 19,530 people were vaccinated (101.32% of the target), and for the second dose, 95.92% or 18,730 individuals were vaccinated.

For public sector workers, the target was 289,920 individuals. The first dose vaccination reached 155,230 individuals (53.54% of the target), and the second dose reached 46.27% or 134,150 individuals.

For the elderly, the target was 177,360 individuals. The first dose was administered to 28,050 individuals (15.82% of the target). The second dose reached 12.07% or 21,410 individuals.

For the vulnerable general public, the target was 1.69 million individuals. For the first dose, 518,130 individuals were vaccinated (31.42% of the target). The second dose reached 22.83% or 373,530 individuals.

For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 407,850 individuals. The first dose was administered to 105,600 individuals (25.89% of the target). The second dose reached 18.92% or 77,180 individuals.
