Boven Digoel ranks first. With a population of 72,236, its weekly suspect testing percentage is 87.5 percent. The latest positive rate is 0 percent. The positive rate in this region has decreased compared to the previous week.
Next is Mandailing Natal. This region has a population of 463,910. In efforts to combat the Covid-19 pandemic, the weekly suspect testing percentage is 85.28 percent. The positive rate in this region is 0 percent, also down from the previous week.
Furthermore, the weekly suspect testing percentage in Banggai Kepulauan is 78.26 percent, in Simalungun it is 65.68 percent, and in Bima it is 61.67 percent.
Anticipating the impact of Omicron in various regions, based on national Covid-19 data recapitulation, there are 31 regencies/cities in Indonesia actively reporting higher weekly suspect testing percentages than before.
