As of Friday, January 7, 2022, a total of 287.92 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered nationwide. This includes 169.08 million first doses, 116.31 million second doses, and 2.53 million doses administered through the community-based vaccination program ("vaksinasi gotong royong").
A total of 1.97 million healthcare workers have received their first dose, representing 139.57% of the target. 1.3 million healthcare workers have received their second dose (133.84% of the target). Furthermore, 1.3 million healthcare workers (88.33% of the target) have received a third dose, as recommended by the government.
For public sector workers, 23.48 million people (135.53% of the target) have received their first dose, and 21.18 million (122.21% of the target) have received their second dose.
The elderly were also prioritized in the initial vaccination phases. To date, 14.61 million elderly individuals (67.81% of the target) have received their first dose, and 9.32 million (43.26% of the target) have received their second dose.
Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 99.06 million people (71.08% of the target) have received their first dose, and 65.14 million (47% of the target) have received their second dose.
Finally, for adolescents aged 12-17 years, 23.02 million (86.19% of the target) have received their first dose, and 17.46 million (65.39% of the target) have received their second dose.
