National COVID-19 vaccination updates as of Sunday, January 8, 2023, have reached 451.91 million doses. The details are as follows: 204.08 million doses for the first dose, 174.85 million for the second dose, 68.77 million for the third dose, 1.19 million for the fourth dose, and 3.01 million doses for community-based vaccination programs.
A total of 2.05 million healthcare workers have received the first dose of the vaccine, or 139.53% of the target. Furthermore, 2.01 million healthcare workers have received the second dose, or 136.95% of the target. For healthcare workers specifically, the government has recommended a third and fourth dose, with 1.81 million doses and 815,390 doses administered respectively.
For the first dose vaccination of public service personnel, 18.3 million people have received it, or 105.61% of the target. Of this number, 17.07 million people, or 98.52% of the target, have received the second dose.
In addition, in the first phase, the government also prioritized the elderly population for vaccination. However, to date, only 18.31 million people have received the first dose, or 84.96% of the target. The second dose has been administered to 15.21 million people, or 70.56% of the target.
Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vaccination for vulnerable and general population groups. For this group, 117.01 million people have received the first dose, or 82.86% of the target. The second dose has been administered to 99.5 million people, or 70.46% of the target.
Furthermore, another vaccination target group is adolescents aged 12-17 years. A total of 25.53 million people in this group have received the first dose, or 95.6% of the target. Of that number, 22.32 million people, or 83.58% of the target, have received the second dose.
