The top five, starting from the highest, are Kudus, Samarinda City, Tasikmalaya, Sukoharjo, and Sukabumi, with 983, 973, 961, 945, and 918 people tested per week, respectively.
Kudus ranks first. With a population of 893,350, the number of people tested in the last week was 983 per week. The latest positive rate is 1.22 percent. The positive rate in this region has decreased compared to the previous week's ratio.
Next is Samarinda City. The population is 866,880. In an effort to counter the Covid-19 pandemic, the number of people tested last week was 973 per week. The positive rate in this region is 2.16 percent, an increase compared to the previous week's ratio.
Furthermore, Covid-19 tests in Tasikmalaya last week totaled 961 per week, in Sukoharjo 945 per week, and in Sukabumi 918 per week.
In anticipation of the Omicron impact in various regions, based on national Covid data recapitulation, 86 regencies/cities in Indonesia actively reported a higher number of people tested daily last week than the previous week.
