The world's most expensive diamond is the Koh-i-Noor. This oval-shaped diamond weighs 105.6 carats. Shrouded in mystery and legend, the stone is believed to have been mined in India in the 1300s.
This colorless, oval-cut diamond is also known as the Mountain of Light and the Diamond of Babur. The Koh-i-Noor is valued at US$10-12 billion, or approximately Rp 171 trillion.
2. The Cullinan
The Cullinan is the largest gem-quality rough diamond ever found. It weighed 3,106.75 carats. Discovered in Cullinan, South Africa in 1905, it was presented to King Edward VII.
Also known as the Star of Africa, this rough diamond was cut into 9 major stones, the largest being the Cullinan I at 530.2 carats. This diamond is estimated to be worth US$2 billion, or approximately Rp 28.6 trillion.
3. The Hope Diamond
This diamond was discovered in India in the 1600s. King Louis XIV purchased the Hope Diamond in 1668. This 45.52-carat antique cushion-cut Fancy Dark Grey-Blue diamond was stolen during the looting of crown jewels in 1791, but reappeared in London in 1839.

5. The Pink Star
Mined in South Africa in 1999, The Pink Star, formerly known as the Steinmetz Pink, is the largest diamond graded Fancy Vivid Pink. Hong Kong-based Chow Tai Fook Enterprises purchased the Pink Star from a Sotheby's auction in 2017 via telephone.
This 59.60-carat diamond was later renamed the CTF Pink Star in memory of the late father of the current chairman of Chow Tai Fook. The Pink Star is valued at US$71.2 million, or approximately Rp 1.01 trillion.
