The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 88 regencies/cities with weekly hospital inpatient use above the national average, currently recorded at 2.55 patients per 100,000 population/week, data as of Monday, November 28, 2022.
The five regencies/cities with the highest inpatient use, exceeding 13.56 patients per 100,000 population/week, are Central Jakarta City, Mojokerto City, Tegal City, Yogyakarta City, and Banda Aceh City, with respective values of 18.71 patients per 100,000 population/week, 15.15 patients per 100,000 population/week, 14.39 patients per 100,000 population/week, 13.56 patients per 100,000 population/week, and 13.56 patients per 100,000 population/week.
A national Covid data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows that inpatient use in most regencies/cities outside Java has decreased. A higher than previous daily inpatient use was recorded in 37 regencies/cities, while 56 regencies/cities recorded lower inpatient use.
Areas outside Java with the highest inpatient use include Banda Aceh City, Klungkung, and Tojo Una Una, with respective inpatient use of 13.56 patients per 100,000 population/week, 12.13 patients per 100,000 population/week, and 8.26 patients per 100,000 population/week.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
