As of Thursday, November 11, 2021, East Kalimantan Province has achieved 65.22% coverage for the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. This equates to 1.87 million vaccine recipients out of a target of 2.87 million people. The second dose vaccination has reached 44.14% of the target.
By target group, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 28,220 recipients. For the first dose, vaccination was successfully administered to 28,220 individuals (138.81% of the target), and for the second dose, 133.49% or 37,670 individuals were vaccinated.
For public service personnel, the target was 284,190 individuals. The first dose vaccination reportedly reached 422,520 individuals (148.67% of the target), and the second dose reached 126.48% or 359,450 individuals.
For the elderly, the target was 189,530 individuals. For the first dose, 80,340 individuals were vaccinated (42.39% of the target). The second dose reached 31.47% or 59,660 individuals.
For the vulnerable general public, the target was 1.97 million individuals. For the first dose, 937,270 individuals were vaccinated (55.57% of the target). The second dose reached 33.44% or 525,990 individuals.
For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 397,460 individuals. For the first dose, 235,010 individuals were vaccinated (59.13% of the target). The second dose reached 38.15% or 151,620 individuals.
