The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 112 districts/cities with weekly agglomeration tracing above the national average, currently recorded at 2.51 percent as of Sunday, December 18, 2022.
The top five districts/cities with figures exceeding 20.5 percent are Pacitan, West Lombok, Cianjur, Tasikmalaya, and Pasuruan City, with values of 30 percent, 25.5 percent, 21.5 percent, 21.33 percent, and 20.5 percent respectively.
A recapitulation of national Covid data from the Ministry of Health shows that tracing in most districts/cities outside Java has decreased. Daily tracing figures higher than before were recorded in 0 districts/cities.
Some of the regions outside Java with the highest tracing values include West Lombok, Karimun, and Asahan, with tracing rates of 25.5 percent, 20 percent, and 20 percent respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
