Several districts/cities in East Nusa Tenggara province still record a relatively low second dose vaccination rate compared to other regions. Some of these districts/cities include Kupang Regency, South Central Timor Regency, and Rote Ndao Regency.
As of yesterday, in the vaccination program, these three regions have only completed 403,240 second doses out of the expected target of 716,350 vaccine recipients.
Kupang Regency is ranked first. As of yesterday, this region has recorded 53.6% for the second dose vaccination. This figure is the lowest compared to the other 22 districts/cities. Meanwhile, for the first dose, as of yesterday, 81.7% has been achieved, or 407,560 vaccine recipients.
The vaccination program in this district/city is planned to target 281,420 participants. According to data from the Ministry of Health, the average vaccination last week in Kupang was 362 participants. The current vaccine stock is 14,680 doses.
Next is South Central Timor Regency. For the second dose vaccination, this area is ranked second lowest. With a target of 334,780 vaccine recipients, 57.99% or 194,150 recipients have been successfully vaccinated.
The first dose achievement is recorded at 85.96%, or 489,890 vaccine recipients.
Another is Rote Ndao Regency, ranked third. With a target of 100,150 vaccine recipients, 58.15% or 58,238 recipients have been successfully vaccinated for the second dose. According to data from the Ministry of Health, the average vaccination last week in Rote Ndao was 194 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is currently recorded at 2,800 doses.
Regarding vaccination achievement at the provincial level, the total first dose vaccination in East Nusa Tenggara has reached 82.74%, or 3.67 million vaccine recipients. Meanwhile, the second dose vaccination has reached 63.14%, reaching 2.8 million vaccine recipients.
