The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 133 districts/cities with weekly agglomeration tracing above the national average, currently recorded at 3.18 percent as of Sunday, September 11, 2022.
The five top districts/cities with figures exceeding 20.6 percent are Metro City, Mandailing Natal, Pasuruan, West Lombok, and Karimun, with values of 23 percent, 22 percent, 21.6 percent, 21 percent, and 20.6 percent respectively.
A recapitulation of national Covid data from the Ministry of Health shows that tracing in most districts/cities outside Java has decreased. Daily tracing figures higher than before were recorded in 10 districts/cities, while 16 districts/cities recorded lower tracing figures.
Areas outside Java with the highest tracing values include Metro City, Mandailing Natal, and West Lombok, with tracing rates of 23 percent, 22 percent, and 21 percent respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
