This equates to 1.79 million vaccine recipients out of a target of 2.14 million people. Meanwhile, the second dose vaccination has reached 49.47 percent of the target as of yesterday.
Based on target groups, the details of the vaccination to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce group had a target of 24,600 recipients. For the first dose, vaccination was successfully administered to 24,600 people (110.15 percent of the target), and for the second dose, 104.17 percent or 25,620 people were vaccinated.
For public service personnel, the target was 225,260 people. The first dose vaccination reportedly reached 162,440 people (72.11 percent of the target), and the second dose reached 63.37 percent, or 142,740 people.
For the elderly, the target was 196,630 people. For the first dose, it was administered to 104,940 people (53.37 percent of the target). The second dose reached only 31.13 percent, or 61,220 people.
For the vulnerable general public, the target was 1.37 million people. For the first dose, vaccination was reportedly administered to 1.08 million people (82.82 percent of the target). The second dose reached only 47.65 percent, or 599,410 people.
For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 314,610 people. For the first dose, 250,470 people were vaccinated (79.61 percent of the target). The second dose reached only 49.16 percent, or 154,650 people.
