National COVID-19 vaccination as of Friday, December 31, 2021, has reached 277.69 million doses. This includes 161.32 million first doses, 113.85 million second doses, and 2.52 million doses administered through the "gotong royong" (community participation) program.
A total of 2.05 million healthcare workers received the first dose, exceeding the target by 139.48%. 1.96 million healthcare workers received the second dose, exceeding the target by 133.65%. For healthcare workers, a third dose was also recommended, with 1.29 million receiving it, representing 87.75% of the target.
For public officials, 23.52 million received the first dose, exceeding the target by 135.75%. Of these, 21.16 million received the second dose, exceeding the target by 122.1%.
The elderly were also prioritized in the first phase. However, only 14.27 million (66.2% of the target) received the first dose, and 9.03 million (41.9% of the target) received the second dose.
Starting in July 2021, the government targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 97.47 million received the first dose (69.95% of the target), and 63.35 million received the second dose (45.73% of the target).
Finally, adolescents aged 12-17 were also targeted. A total of 22.7 million received the first dose (85.01% of the target), and 17.12 million received the second dose (64.1% of the target).
