As of Tuesday, March 15, 2022, West Sumatra Province has achieved an 88.48% vaccination rate for the first dose, covering 3.9 million of the 4.41 million targeted individuals. The second dose vaccination rate reached 62% by the previous day.

By target group, the COVID-19 vaccination details for the province are as follows: For healthcare workers (target: 32,390 individuals), the first dose vaccination reached 32,390 individuals (133.18% of the target), and the second dose reached 128.28% (41,550 individuals).

For public sector workers (target: 400,270 individuals), the first dose vaccination reached 254,390 individuals (63.55% of the target), and the second dose reached 57.8% (231,340 individuals).

For the elderly (target: 489,570 individuals), the first dose vaccination reached 459,250 individuals (93.81% of the target), and the second dose reached 61.81% (302,590 individuals).

For the vulnerable general public (target: 2.9 million individuals), the first dose vaccination reached 2.36 million individuals (81.58% of the target), and the second dose reached 56.79% (1.64 million individuals).

For adolescents aged 12-17 (target: 589,720 individuals), the first dose vaccination reached 577,080 individuals (97.86% of the target), and the second dose reached 79.18% (466,950 individuals).
