As of Tuesday, March 29, 2022, the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccination coverage in Central Java Province has reached 92.03 percent. This figure is equivalent to 26.44 million vaccine recipients out of a target of 28.73 million people. Meanwhile, the second dose vaccination has reached 80.18 percent of the target.

Based on target groups, the details of the vaccination to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce group had a target of 164,920 recipients. For the first dose, vaccination was successfully carried out for 164,920 people (147.74 percent of the target), and for the second dose, 144.92 percent or 238,990 people were vaccinated.

Public sector workers had a target of 2.21 million people. The first dose vaccination reportedly reached 2.25 million people (101.5 percent of the target), and the second dose reached 94.08 percent, or 2.08 million people.

The elderly target was 3.68 million people. For the first dose, 2.87 million people were vaccinated (77.97 percent of the target). The second dose reached only 64.06 percent, or 2.36 million people.

The general vulnerable population target was 19.3 million people. For the first dose, 14.7 million people were vaccinated (76.39 percent of the target). The second dose reached only 65.67 percent, or 12.64 million people.

Another target group was adolescents aged 12-17 years, with a target of 3.37 million people. For the first dose, 3.26 million people were vaccinated (96.73 percent of the target). The second dose reached 89.19 percent, or 3.01 million people.
