The top five, starting from the highest, are East Jakarta City, Sukabumi City, West Jakarta City, Metro City, and North Jakarta City, with ratios of 893.45 percent, 867.48 percent, 837.18 percent, 750.29 percent, and 727.44 percent, respectively.
East Jakarta City ranks first. The weekly percentage of people tested there was recorded at 893.45 percent. The latest positive rate is 3.87 percent. The positive rate in this region has decreased compared to the previous week's ratio.
Next is Sukabumi City. The population of this region is recorded at 331,750. In an effort to prevent the Covid-19 pandemic, the weekly percentage of people tested was 867.48 percent. The positive rate in this region is recorded at 1.16 percent, or higher than the previous week's ratio.
Furthermore, the weekly percentage of people tested in West Jakarta City was recorded at 837.18 percent, 750.29 percent in Metro City, and 727.44 percent in North Jakarta City.
Anticipating the impact of Omicron in various regions, based on the national Covid-19 data recapitulation, there are 119 regencies/cities in Indonesia that actively report a higher daily weekly percentage of people tested than before. Meanwhile, 255 other regencies/cities recorded a lower weekly percentage of people tested compared to the previous week's testing.
Regions outside Java with the highest weekly percentage of people tested include Metro City, Mimika, and Teluk Wondama, with weekly percentages of 750.29 percent, 700 percent, and 654.29 percent, respectively.
