At that time, Ambon's air quality was categorized as "good," meaning pollutant levels were very minimal. Mamuju was second with an air quality index of 40, followed by Bulungan in third place with an index of 41.
Below is a complete list of the 10 cities with the cleanest air quality in Indonesia according to the KLHK on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at 7 PM WIB:

While these cities had the cleanest air quality in Indonesia, not all cities had good air quality.

* 201-300: Very Unhealthy
* 300+: Hazardous
Therefore, on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at 7 PM WIB, cities with good air quality were Ambon, Mamuju, Bulungan, Jayapura, Ternate, and Palu. The other four cities—Gorontalo, Balikpapan, Cirebon, and Manado—had moderate air quality.
