The top five, starting from the highest, are Buleleng (975 tests per week), Cilegon City (939 tests per week), Jombang (923 tests per week), Padang City (920 tests per week), and Kuningan (916 tests per week).
Buleleng ranks first. With a population of 672,470, the number of people tested in the last week was 975 per week. The latest positive rate is 2.36 percent, an increase compared to the previous week.
Next is Cilegon City. Its population is 452,910. In an effort to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, 939 people were tested per week. The positive rate is 0.53 percent, a decrease compared to the previous week.
Jombang recorded 923 tests per week, Padang City 920 tests per week, and Kuningan 916 tests per week.
In anticipation of the impact of Omicron in various regions, based on a recapitulation of national COVID-19 data, 197 regencies/cities in Indonesia actively reported a higher number of tests conducted in the last week compared to the previous week. Meanwhile, 167 other regencies/cities recorded a lower number of tests compared to the previous week.
