As of Saturday, April 29, 2023, 68.74 million doses of COVID-19 booster vaccines have been administered in Indonesia. This represents 37.86% of the national vaccination target of 234.66 million doses. The daily increase in booster vaccinations nationwide yesterday was 718 doses.
West Java has the highest number of booster vaccine recipients nationwide, with 15.47 million doses administered. Within West Java, Bogor Regency has the highest number of booster shots at 1.59 million doses, followed by Bandung Regency (1.1 million), Bekasi City (979,790), Bekasi Regency (967,750), Cianjur Regency (912,620), and Bandung City (897,990).
East Java is second nationally with 9.38 million booster doses administered, with Surabaya City having the highest number of recipients in the province at 1.31 million doses.
Central Java is third with 8.57 million booster doses, followed by Jakarta, North Sumatra, and Banten with 5.35 million, 4.2 million, and 2.99 million doses respectively.
