The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) noted that at least three regencies/cities have a weekly BOR above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 4.65 percent. This average is up from last week's 3.98 percent, based on data from Saturday, October 22, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with COVID-19 BOR exceeding 43.84 percent are Fakfak, Majene, Gorontalo, Toli-Toli, and Takalar, with values of 100 percent, 78.57 percent, 69.57 percent, 44.64 percent, and 43.84 percent respectively.
A recapitulation of national COVID-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the BOR in most regencies/cities outside Java. An increase in daily BOR was recorded in 80 regencies/cities, while 68 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Fakfak, Majene, and Gorontalo, with BORs of 100 percent, 78.57 percent, and 69.57 percent respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
