Several districts/cities in Banten province still record quite low vaccination rates compared to other regions. Some of these districts/cities include Pandeglang Regency, Serang Regency, and Lebak Regency.
As of Friday, October 15, 2021, these three regencies had only completed 811,200 first doses of the vaccine, out of a target of 3.31 million vaccine recipients.
Pandeglang Regency is ranked first in terms of low vaccination rates. As of yesterday, this region only recorded a 22.02% vaccination rate, the lowest among the eight other districts/cities. The vaccination program in this regency targets 982,500 participants. The average weekly vaccination rate in this region last week was 2,612 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is currently 48,149 doses.
Next is Serang Regency, which has the second-lowest vaccination rate. With a vaccination target of 1.26 million participants, only 23.55% or 296,700 participants have been vaccinated. The average weekly vaccination rate in this region last week was 6,404 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is currently 122,420 doses.
Lastly, Lebak Regency is ranked third. With a vaccination target of 1.07 million participants, only 27.99% or 298,150 participants have been vaccinated. The average weekly vaccination rate in this region last week was 6,002 participants. The available vaccine stock is 53,696 doses.
At the provincial level, the total first dose vaccination in Banten has reached 53.1% or 4.9 million vaccine recipients. The second dose vaccination has reached 32.74% or 3.02 million vaccine recipients.
