Balikpapan City is ranked first. With a population of 646,020, the weekly testing percentage is recorded at 494.57 percent. The latest positive rate is 0.5 percent. The positive rate in this region has decreased compared to the previous week's percentage.
Next is Teluk Wondama. The population in this region is recorded at 34,898. In an effort to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, the weekly testing percentage is 394.29 percent. The positive rate in this region is recorded at 0 percent, having decreased compared to the previous week's ratio.
Furthermore, Gunungsitoli City recorded 342.18 percent testing, North Bengkulu recorded 284.74 percent, and Purwakarta recorded 253.91 percent.
Anticipating the impact of Omicron in various regions, based on a recapitulation of national COVID data, there are 180 regencies/cities in Indonesia actively reporting higher weekly testing percentages than before.
