As of Tuesday, September 21, 2021, a total of 128.92 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered nationwide. This includes 81.08 million first doses, 46.13 million second doses, and 1.71 million doses administered through the "gotong royong" (community-based) vaccination program.
A total of 1.97 million healthcare workers have received their first dose (133.99% of the target). 1.81 million healthcare workers have received their second dose (123.22% of the target). Furthermore, 868,740 healthcare workers have received a third dose (59.15% of the target).
For public sector workers, 27.69 million people have received their first dose (159.8% of the target), and 15.63 million (90.23% of the target) have received their second dose.
The elderly were prioritized in the initial vaccination phase. To date, 5.98 million elderly individuals (27.75% of the target) have received their first dose, and 4.18 million (19.4% of the target) have received their second dose.
Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 41.09 million people have received their first dose (29.78% of the target), and 21.44 million (15.71% of the target) have received their second dose.
Finally, for adolescents aged 12-17 years, 3.39 million (12.68% of the target) have received their first dose, and 2.32 million (8.68% of the target) have received their second dose.
